We were greeted with such a warm welcome, the manager Johan was very attentive and went out of his way to make our stay a memorable one. We celebrated my birthday and my parents' anniversary. Johan and his staff made sure we will never forget the amazing time we had with them at the lodge.

We especially also want to highly recommend Siswe our game ranger and safari guide on both half day and full day safari's! He is very passionate about his work and really went the extra mile to ensure we take home memories we will treasure forever! All in all to anyone who wishes to stay at this location, please do so, you will not be disappointed. Food is great, service is always with a smile and nothing is too much of an effort. The rooms were very comfortable with all amenities one needs. The beds sleep like a dream and at special request we were able to view the stars after all guests went to bed and the staff accommodated us by switching off the garden lights for a few minutes so we could enjoy our star gazing.

Situated right by the crocodile river, there is never a dull moment. We saw animals all the way from making our way to lodge, on safari and even while having breakfast.

A must for any traveler!

There were four of us -- a mix of family and friends, Americans and South Africans -- and the place was great for us. Jacques, the manager was available and friendly from the minute we got there. All the staff, in fact, were exceptional -- friendly, chatty, and warm.
We went on a sunset safari drive and a day-long safari drive with Lion (the tour guide), who was exceptional. He raced us through the Kruger after hearing a tip from another tour guide to be sure we got to see a lion sleeping over a recently-killed buffalo -- extraordinary! He was very good at spotting animals and knowledgable about them. We saw all of the big 5 except the leopard. We were more than happy with our trip."
