"We've not been to St Francis Bay until now, we just needed an overnight and thought to explore it a little.
Wow, what a stunning place, with the Kromme river mouth into the ocean, the tides making continuous change to the sandbanks, the birds and flora framing it all - and iLollo lodge provides a superb grand stand view of it all from their balcony rooms.
The facilities themselves are of superb quality: comfortable and clean, and Anne, our host, was a treat. Her breakfast was five star.
The lounge and the patio with pool and braai area offer excellent retreat if the weather is poor or you just need a quiet place to socialise.
We certainly hope to be back."
