"We had the privilege to stay at Beyond The Moon over the past weekend. More specifically in the River Sanctuary cottage. Great was our surprise to find this little gem in the middle of nowhere. Astrid was our hostess - a very kind and extremely helpful lady. River Sanctuary is situated next to the river ... lush green lawn, beautiful forest surroundings, a view to die for, braai place next to the river ... even a nice open air hot water shower next to the river ... and should the evening be a bit chilly - there's even a nice fire place inside! We spotted many birds and even some cheeky monkeys. There is no TV, but the facilities are superb ... and you don't need a TV with all the animal activity going on around the cabin. It was wonderful seeing a sky lit with thousands of stars and just listening to Mother Nature whispering to us.
I would highly recommend this venue for someone who would like to get away from the daily hustle and bustle of the city.... here you can become whole again :)
