The small cottage is definitely the most private option available here. Everything was clean and there's tea, coffee, sugar and a plunger which is great. Good value fo..."

"We spent one night at Bushwhacked. The room was comfortable, clean and the house in general was very neat and cosy. We shared a bathroom with other guests which we thought would be a problem but there was plenty hot water. The communal kitchen had everything for self catering. The view from the patio is amazing. Will most certainly be back. Thank you. "

"A sadly underestimated, under-exposed piece of heaven. We stayed in their self-catering cottage with our 4-legged child and it was absolutely glorious. Every little detail was taken care of - ice in the freezer, insect repellants and lovely romantic mosquito nets. We will be back. Thank you to you b..."

"Lovely stay!"

(South Africa) Emmse Burger

"We spent two nights at Bushwacked and it was lovely. So close to town yet far enough to enjoy total peace and quiet. Pete told us about hikes and we spent both mornings exploring the old mine shaft and tunnel. Definitely for adventure seekers. "

"What a find. We had a very comfortable stay in "Sams Shack", a free standing, fully equipped [if you need anything just ask] cottage apart from the main building, with views to die for [the stoep of the main building has the same views]. Our hosts were most attentive to our needs and we were very close to the heart of things.
The accommodation is basic, but more than adequate [for example the beds and bedding were first class], rather than sophisticated, but that was part of the charm.
I have no hesitation in recommending people to Bushwacked, indeed we are doing just that. They just need to mow the grass a bit and build a few stairs. Enjoy [I am sure you will - we did]."
