We were early and were invited to wait in the patio or indoors where they brought us coffee while preparing our room. We were pleasantly surprised by the availability of a lunch menu. The underfloor heating in the room was great, it kept the room pleasantly warm all the time. The room was beautifully furnished. The staff were friendly and very helpful without being too much. Every service they provided was done promptly and smoothly. We had dinner twice and both times the food was excellent. The gardens are well kept and lights on the trees made a beautiful show at night. Monchique is close to some lovely attractions such as the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens where we spent a lovely morning.
We enjoyed our stay at Monchique Guest House and we look forward to staying there again.

Highly recommend this as accommodation to nearby wedding venues. The shuttle to and from Oakfield was superb, and allowed us to enjoy the wedding.
