- Maybe an oven, since it is self-catering.
- Salad bowels.
- The rest of the house's curtains are so beautiful, maybe upgrade the curtains in the living area?

I did get the impression that we were more houseguests than people staying at a lodge.

The town is very dead at night, with the exception of an excellent Portuguese restaurant 'Canimambo' just a few blocks up.

Overall a relaxing time spent out of joburg and in nature. So close to all the tourist destinations such as God's Window and others.

Management were friendly and helpful.

The hosts are wonderful people, making you feel at home even if you are only there for a night. The location is very nice, just outside the small village of Graskop and is perfect for day trips around. You can easily reach Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrims Rest, a lot of waterfalls, the Kruger National Park. So you can see a lot of things and do not have to pack every other evening to move further.

The chalets provide almost everything. There are two separate bedrooms, open plan kitchen, sitting room with open fire place and an entree. Outside you have two terraces, so that you can enjoy the sun any time of day. And there is a braai on the terrace. There are also two separate bathrooms in each chalet. One is with WC, basin and shower and the other one is with bathtub and basin only.
It was very nice, that the room was cleaned every day, even the fireplace and braai were always nice and clean again.

The whole place is well maintained. The chalets maybe lack a bit of decoration. But the (especially sunrise) view from the terrace just above the waterfall is better than any fancy furniture or decoration.

The restaurant on the premises offers a nice choice of meals and also breakfast for the lazy ones like us. And they gave us a warm and friendly service and also some ideas for our trips.

Air conditioning or a ceiling fan would have been welcome!

We drove out to do some sight seeing and found clean towels and obvious cleaning had been done although it was not necessary as with only two people who lived there for two nights, we did not leave much to clean.

We had our aniversary on Saturday the 5th and decided to have our anniversary treat at the restaurant on the premises and this also was a great experience as the food served and the service received was very, very good - a bit much food on a plate though but realy well cooked and served.

We would like to thank Mogodi Lodge for the weekend away and would definitely consider visiting again!"
