"Our recent overnight stay at Overmeer Guest House was a most enjoyable experience. On arrival in Knysna we found the establishment very easy as there were ample signposts. The magnificent view over the lake and surroundings were breathtaking! We were met by a lovely young lady and attended to immediately even though we were slightly early. From reception down to the parking bay to the room the grounds were in a pristine condition.
The room was spacious with a private patio to enjoy the view. We were impressed with the interior decorating - tranquil greens and wooden finishes. The mini bar well stocked. Coffee/tea facilities and fragrant toiletries in the en-suite bathroom (shower) - which we prefer.
A most comfortable king size bed with soft cotton bedding and towels, clock radio and muted bedside lamps was very inviting for a good night's rest.
Breakfast - our favourite meal - met all the standards! Piping hot beverages served on arrival in the dining room followed by an array of breads and buffet while waiting for the main course - eggs baked to perfection!"
