"I felt as though I was being transported back in time at this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived after a very long drive we were greeted by Katlego, who was both charming and very professional, he escorted us to our rooms and showed us the bar where we could have refreshments. We were left to chill out and he told us the bar could operate for us on an honesty tab. We were recommended an amazing Italian restaurant close by where the steak was to die for by Katlego. This morning I had trouble with the Wi fi and was concerned as I needed to contact my daughter, I spoke to Patrick who assured me I had nothing to worry about and fixed the problem I had with my phone. Patrick was very charming and extremely helpful and even suggested hotel's in Port Elizabeth for us. The hotel and nearby restaurants were in a pleasant safe area. I would highly recommend this hotel, and look forward to returning."

A special pleasure was the excellent breakfast, the pristine, crisp white table linen and the topclass coffee! One aspect which should be included on the website, is the fact that older people will find the narrow staircase to the upperfloor rooms and suites, difficult to handle and should therefore be given the choice of downstairs accommodation as well."
