Swell Eco Lodge offers self-catering accommodation, ideal for couples, groups and families. Set within the rolling hills of Mngcibe (North side of the Mdumbi River), we invite you to enjoy pure relaxation and fun while supporting a green way of life.

Swell Eco Lodge offers exclusive accommodation with modern stylish interiors and traditional Xhosa exteriors. Our newly renovated lodge offers self-catering accommodation, ideal for couples, groups and families who want to experience the true beauty of the Wild Coast while enjoying the comforting luxuries everyone deserves on holiday! The lodge consists of 3 Sea Facing Duplex units each consisting of 2 rooms and there are 2 single Rondavels.

The lodge is eco-friendly and malaria free. Facilities include internet access, barbeque facilities, kids’ activities, 24 hour security and secure parking.

***The balance of the account must be paid, in advance, no less than 30 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival.
***All other extras must be settled with The Lodge prior to departure.

"We had a wonderful time. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely, arty rooms with beautiful linen, divine location. Gorgeous walks, magnificent river. Divine homemade bread. Will definitely be back. The only negative was that our booking was confirmed and the deposit paid for, but a few days before arriving were told we could not stay the full length of time due to a double booking so perhaps double check your confirmation. This said, mistakes happen and the three nights spent there were well worth it. "
