"This small lodge is not to be missed. Located on the banks of the Crocodile River overlooking Kruger Park, we'd seen lion, elephant and buffalo before we even got to our tent! The tent itself was extremely well appointed and the shower fabulous. Whilst it is technically self catering, the evening brain is a communal affair with the hosts lighting the fires and providing all the accompaniments, i.e. salads, sauces and a starch.. This became a fitting and extremely enjoyable end to days in Kruger. We were so pleased to have chosen this as a place to stay and would highly recommend it."

"This is a lovely tented camp. It is located literally next to the Crocodile Bridge Kruger gate, so as close as you can get without being in the park. We were up and in the park about 5 mins after the gate opened each day, ready for the sunrise when all the animals were out. And it is on the river, l..."

"This is a lovely tented camp. It is located literally next to the Crocodile Bridge Kruger gate, so as close as you can get without being in the park. We were up and in the park about 5 mins after the gate opened each day, ready for the sunrise when all the animals were out. And it is on the river, literally looking over the park, so you get a great view over the park, spotting hippos, buffalo and more (and listening to hyenas call in the night).
The hosts - Scott and Karen - are incredibly welcoming, sitting with the guests each night around the braai (BBQ) and sharing stories and tips for the area.

"Extremely pleasurable experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Kruger Park. Everything was very clean and tents were large and well equipped including heating and air conditioning. Great location, I stayed literally 10 meters from the Kruger fence and from my porch I was able to watch a herd (18) of giraffes walk to the river for a drink. The Crocodile River runs just beyond the boundary fence so we had a great view of any animals getting a drink from the river. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I have absolutely no complaints and would definitely stay there again."
