The lodge was warm, clean, cosy and centrally located which made it easy to do day trips to all the wonderful natural attractions. We loved the fact that the cell phone signal wasn't great and that there was no TV as we bonded as a family with our two teenage girls. We will definitely be back!"

"Relaxing "

"I loved the serenity and peace of the place. The stove can was a bit annoying as it switched off every time it went over a certain temperature. It took me two hours to fry 1 dozen samosas. "

"We were welcomed and well accommodated at Bananien. The setting is lovely and the nature amazing. The units themselves are tired and in need of an upgrade. The kitchen is tiny ! That said, the atmosphere is great and we enjoyed our stay."

All we ask is for quite clean space where we can make food and sleep and the what is gr8 of the other places like Mary Pebbles is that they have a place to wash the bikes after each day. As maintenance is very important this is a nice feature that we did not have.

Over all we where happy with what we got. "

"Very basic rustic small log cabins set in a charming garden on the road between Sabie and Hazyview...expect some road noise. Well situated for touring the Panaroma and Kruger Park. Don't forget to bring your own bath and swimming towels."

"The lodge was cosy and everyone was friendly - we thought it was a central location to see all we wanted to see - e.g Pilgroms rest, Gods window, macmac, lisbon falls etc

There was a little noise from the road. But in general it was comfortable and what we needed. ThankS!"

When you think of a lodge you would expect tea and coffee to be available. Just enough for the period of your stay for the morning. Hand soap would be a nice to have. I do understand that people steal the towels and if that is the case then charge them a deposit for the towels payable back to the person if towels are still on the premises. Maggie was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back"
