On arrival at Waterwoods we were warmly met by the Security Guard who knew where everything was. We returned from the Wedding reception at midnight and he was available to open the gate and sign us in. We only stayed for 1night and the service was excellent. We definitely will be coming to stay for a longer period; we found the establishment nice, clean and peaceful."

"What a birthday weekend surprise it was! My boyfriend Mr Hoffman, surprised me with a perfect weekend away to Waterwoods. Not only was the stand alone cottage finished with such homely and warm décor, the inside fire place was absolutely perfect for some romantic quality time. Upon our arrival, Lyn welcomed us warmly giving us a grand tour of our spacious cabin. The only change I would have made is that our stay was over 2 nights and not just one as this was not enough time to soak up the spectacular views, and cuddle around the flickering fire place. Waterwoods was beyond affordable and the value for money was astounding! We are planning a return trip very soon and we have spread the word to our friends and family. No one can return from their trip without feeling rejuvenated from the stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The bonus is that these stunning cabins are so close to Nottingham Road and we had plenty to keep us busy with the meander being right on our doorstep. This is a definite must and such a perfect get-away so close to home (Durban). Waterwood have a big fan in me and I'm sure they will see our return very soon!"

We arrived at Waterwoods around 2pm, despite the mist and rain, it was very easy to find. Whilst checking in we asked if it would be a problem to arrive back late, to which we were told there was no problem as to the time we got back!
The cottage we had booked was very spacious, homely and tastefully decorated. After changing we set off to the wedding, getting back around 1am, as promised there was no problem getting back into the property.
The electric blanket and the comfy bed were exactly what we needed!!
In the morning, the sun was shining and we could see the surrounding area, beautiful ex-racehorse stud, post and rail fencing rolling fields ect.
Due to having to be elsewhere, we left early, unfortunately, not getting to meet the owners.... later in the day we had a courtesy call from them to find out if everything had been to our satisfaction.
Thank you Waterwoods for a very brief and pleasant stay, as we said, we would love to come back!!
