"The location was like a fairy tale and extremely peaceful. It was so relaxing to be able to sleep without any city lights or noises keeping us awake. We also enjoyed the stars on the clear night and were able to enjoy the noises of nature. The cottage itself is very well built and outfitted. The fridge and stove worked wonderfully. The mattress was also very comfortable. The bathroom was very nicely decorated and convenient. All in all this is a perfect getaway for anyone who wants to spend quality time with family or for those who want a romantic getaway. It's secluded, peaceful and idyllic. I hope to visit again in future. Although it's a bit out of town, it didn't feel too far. I think we travelled about 40km in total to get back to the nearest town."

Die klanke van al die verskillende voels en diere rondom jou bring 'n rustigheid oor jou wat moeilik is om te ignoreer. Kon darem die rugby op radio in motor luister wat ook weer op sy eie baie goed is want dan moet jy ook sommer vinnig weer leer om ordentlik te luister.

Die kothuis het soveel karakter en die aandag aan die klein goedjies wat so uitstappie wonderlik maak was net fantasties. Ons het die oormate van hout wat gereed is vir 'n lekker kaggel vuur of braai, beskuit en die wyn verskriklik geniet. En dan was daar natuurlik die uitsig en stilte wat 'n rustigheid aan mens bring wat ek nie eers kan beskryf nie. Sal definitief terug wees vir nog baie besoeke.

We will not forget our trip anytime soon, highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away and spend some time relaxing in nature. We specifically chose this weekend with no moon so that we could see the stars and they blew us away!

For a "budget style" accommodation this gets 10 stars. Crisp, clean white bed linen on a very comfortable queen bed allows you to drift off to sleep after a long hard day of relaxing.
The quiet surrounds is only broken but bird song and the occasional bee or Owl at night.
