After our braai, with a glass of wine we sat in our bed in the Tipi by the small fire looking at the starts through the opening above. Absolutely magical! A must visit for people who appreciate green living and the native american culture!"

The setting is tranquile, this whislt being about 30 km's from the hussle and bussle of the City.

Worthwhile stay. Will definately do it again - hopefully more regularly.

Thanks Guys!! You Rock."

"We planned to take our teenage son and his friends away for his birthday and were looking for an experience in which didn't include cellphone screen watching.
We found this little unassuming place in Philadelphia, a mere 18km away and were blown away by what we experienced.
On our arrival, we were ushered into a remake of the OK Corral and were immediately transported back to 1881 with every detail of what you'd expect to see in an old western settlement carefully considered and beautifully laid out. Our colorful host captivated the boys' attention, as he told the story of Wyatt Earp and times of the cowboys and Red Indians, while showing us around the campsite.
The Tipi's were spacious, carpeted and the bedding was very comfortable. The pool was the a refreshing respite from the heat and boys certainly made it the center of entertainment.
At nightfall the ceiling of stars was incredible and, with no electricity, the only light we had was that of a roaring fire around which camp stories and banter was abound - no cell phone in sight.
The following day, we were awoken by our newly adopted furry protector, a white Alsatian named Fang who stayed on guard outside the tipis all night. The boys enjoyed in a little tour around the farm, hosted by the owner Tony who captivated their attention with more stories of cowboys and Indians, before leaving for home.
You know when you've made the right choice for a breakaway, when you have 8 teens not wanting to go home and all planning to return again soon.
Its definitely a must do for kids and families.
