It would not be a good option for people with mobility issues though, because you have to walk along several hundred metres of wooden walkway and steps to get to the car park and main building. It also gets slippery when there is frost and snow. But, on the whole, it was a lovely quiet break."

Breeza the jack russel was always there with a welcome and loved to venture with us on fishing expeditions to the well stocked dam.

I stayed in the studio cottage which was adequate and had a small kitchen with all the equipment needed. The cottage was serviced, although the owner had forgotten to inform her staff that I was arriving and being the only resident on the farm, it did feel a little bleak. However, it is comfortable, close to shops in Underberg and there is a lot to do in the area. Highly recommended area for visiting."
