I got lost in the town (GPS got confused with the joining of two streets), but phoned Carolyn and she very patiently talked me in. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming, and the grounds and my room were great. Fresh fruit and fresh milk in the fridge, the small touches make such a difference after a long journey. I fully endorse all the comments in the guest book on the Peppertree website. I was working in the area during the week, spent Sunday night on my way in and Friday night on my way out. I needed a favour during the week and Carolyn very kindly went to great lengths to get some things for me in Fort Beaufort and arranged for them to be delivered on site. Above and beyond one's expectations, and the delivery really was very important, it all went without a hitch. I hope I'll pass that way again, I know where I will stay."
