"My husband and I wanted to stay close to both Thabazimbi and Marakele National Park. The guesthouse is ideally situated as it is about 3 km outside of town, and about 13 km from Marakele. It's very quiet and peaceful. It was hot as hell and at first our aircon didn't work very well, but after telling the manager she sorted it out for us. I do think that R900 a night is a lot for what you're getting, but we had a lovely stay nonetheless. The warm breakfasts were delicious and the manager, Elna, is a gem. "

The banners of castle guest house in the town also gave wrong directions. It took us a long time to find the place. The double room we got had only one towel , one mug and coffee/tea for one.

The tap of the shower was broken. The blinds in the bathroom window was broken. We had a good nights sleep and nice breakfast."
