The facility itself is well appointed and luxurious. The staff are exceptional, friendly and very accommodating. Food is excellent, although lunch is light and limited. On the down side, signage and directions are poor. We, and as we learned, many others landed at the wrong place - Canyon lodge (Roadhouse), 450km from the Fish River lodge. Also I think the facility should inform patrons of the19km 'trail' to the lodge -a sedan would not make it, at least a 4x2."
