A few things to mention that needs attention:

The fancy shower in the room did not work other than the hand shower.

The challenge with the air con due to high humidity caused a sleepless night on the second night due to 'Japanese torture' effect. Water on the floor was evident of this issue the Sunday morning.

We were charged for 2x J&B whiskeys which we only realised afterwards was incorrect. The mix was charged correctly though as only 1.

Time for breakfast is noted as 07h00 in the morning. Saturday morning we waited until 8h00 before the staff was ready for us. We had to change our morning plans slightly due to this delay.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at 3 Oaks and an Aloe. Will we visit again? Not sure."

Elegant in its design but yet homely. Spacious rooms creatively spaced where you can watch the sun-set while taking a bubble bath, a grand shower and an overall imaginative design of the room. The best part was the balcony which had a fantastic view of the water and mountain range. It is obvious there was some thought into designing and decorating the rooms.
Back to the welcome gestures, when we arrived our bags were carried to the room, and we found rose petals spread on the bed and chilled sparkling wine waiting for us with special candle lighting, that gave a special touch. It really felt like a home since we were given a remote control for the gate, which calmed our security worries. Then it was dinner time, compliments to the chef; those were the most tender lamb chops and most mouth-watering hake, baked potatoes...hmmm the scrumptious taste matched the inspired presentation of the dishes. And the food was consistently amazing throughout the visit. What was incredible was how such delightful food could be prepared swiftly; there were no long waits.
On New Year’s Eve, the reception advised us of the best function to usher in the New Year - cruising in a party boat with a rock band. They made a booking for us and offered clear directions. This is the extra mile that every guest needs. It is great that they had information on most activities in the Hartees area and the cost thereof. So we really felt we were in good hands.
Thanks to all staff of Three Oaks and an Aloe Boutique Hotel for the effort and love that translated to superb service.

Firstly, I was so surprised with the the package price I paid for the weekend, which includes 2 nights sharing, dinner for Friday and Saturday, breakfast for Saturday and Sunday, and a massage treatment on Saturday. That was a reasonable price for the benefits we got.

Secondly, the welcoming service was wonderful and our room was romantically decorated, which left my husband speechless. Wow! That was so romantic :-).

The service we received was fantastic. From the time I started making bookings, I was assisted by Semanga Zwane. He was so fantastic. I had lots of questions regarding the bookings but he did not get irritated at all. What a fantastic job Semanga.

We were served by Joseph the whole weekend, from assisting us with our bags to serving us the meals including other things we needed. He was so wonderful and he gave us a great service.

A very well done to Semanga and Joseph. Keep up the good work guys :-).

As for the birthday boy, he is still on cloud nine. He really loved being at Three Oaks and an Aloe Boutique Hotel, and he enjoyed every minute of it. Both of us were very impressed with the place, the service, the meals including the massage.
