Even though the hotel is situated along the R 328 you do not notice the road, because the vegetation gives you an illusion of being in a tranquil garden far away from everything else. The staff was very helpful and a big English breakfast gives you a good start in the morning."

"My partner & I came accross Hlangana Lodge about two years ago when searching the internet for a place to stay as we transited Oudtschoorn on a journey from KwaZulu Natal to Hermanus where we live. The accommodation looked nice and so we booked. It was nice and we enjoyed our stay of, I think, three nights. This year (2007) we had visitors from overseas (family - three adults ant two young children) and decided to make a brief visit to Oudtschoorn with them We naturally chose to book at Hlangana again, and once more were very happy with the reception that we received, and with the accommodation itself. The gardens are also delightful and the presence of a swimming pool was greatly appreciated by the youngsters. For anyone seeking B&B accommodation in Oudtschoorn I would certainly recommend Hlangana Lodge. "
