Marloth Park has its own wildlife and boasts four of the Big 5, with the exception of elephants. The Crocodile River forms the boundary between Marloth Park and the Kruger National Park, and you are likely to spot elephants playing in the river.

"We had a lovely time in Marloth and De Bruine Huis has a fantastic outdoor area, boma and garden - which we really liked and enjoyed every evening - and you are well taken care of by Alvaro and Agnes - every day. However, this 8 sleeper did not suit two families. There was absolutely no cupboard space available upstairs for clothes, so people had to live out of suitcase and the only shower in the house is in the main bedroom, which made is very difficult in the mornings. Also, the double story is an add on - so the floor upstairs is very loud to those sleeping downstairs. I would say this is better for 1 family - as there is limited cupboards and bathroom space."

"Great experience. Neat, tidy & homely.Alvero very helpful.Kids also enjoyed it. Great variety of animals ventured onto the premises - warthog, impala, mongoose, bushbuck, duiker, zebra & plenty of birds. Nice & quite. Listened to lions roaring at night. Saw a great amount of animals along the Crocodile river fenceline - buffalo, hippo, elephant, crocodile, waterbuck etc... Nice being able to walk along the fence and to cycle in the park. "

"I just want to say thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful house for a week. It has everything you need for you and your family and alot to keep the kids busy. It is within walking distance to the Kruger fences aswell... Alvaro was very helpful and friendly. We had a 2 visits from a whole mongoose family and regular visits from bushbucks and warthogs. We enjoyed the boma and having breakfast and dinner under the lapa as a family and the sounds of lions roaring and hyenas was awesome... not to mention the fisheagle.. We will definantely visit again... thank you so much once again... We were very sad to leave. The Louw Family"

"Ons het heerlik gekuier en ontspan by De Bruine Huis. Die huis self is baie goed toegerus en het alles wat jy sal nodig kry en nog meer. Die daaglikse besoekers in die tuin was 'n bonus. Die rustigheid van die bosveld, met die luukshede van jou eie huis. Die Engelbrecht & Loggenberg families."

"Wij (2 personen) hadden het huis 2x een week gehuurd (met een tussenpozen van ruim 2 weken). Het huis heeft een mooie en zeer grote tuin, echter de dieren die in Marlothpark vrij rond lopen kunnen hier niet binnenkomen omdat er een afscheiding is die gaande weg ook nog wordt verhoogd. Het matras van het bed met klamboe is bedekt met een molton waar een plastic laag onder zit (vanwege hygi‘ne). Dit veroorzaakt echter ook dat het bed niet ventileert en het plastic kraakt. Verder zijn er kleine onderhoudspunten zoals: kapotte tegels keuken, lichtschakelaars zijn vettig en geel en alle kranen zijn zeer slecht af te sluiten en blijven dus lekken. Alvaro de beheerder van het huis is zeer behulpzaam. Hij doet veel onderhoud aan de tuin en verschoont regelmatig linnen. Al met al mede gezien de prijs, een huis wat we kunnen aanbevelen."
