The lodges are all in one building looking over a nice grass patch and at the horizon the wine fields. You can sit on your own on the nice veranda and enjoy evenings or just get into an easy chat with one of the few neighbours. We were with our young kids and they played along with the kids and dogs from the owners and that felt warm and familiar. The owners are interested and if we hadn’t had our meal already I am sure they would have asked us to join in for the BBQ.

Breakfast is prepared with attention and although we didn't check it out, it's close to a small river where fishing is possible (also nice for the kids).
There is a pool which makes it all complete.
If someone would ask me "do you think we should stay at Lady Lodge", I would say for sure, strongly recommended with excellent value for money and you will not be disappointed

Given the fact that he was so young we would later establish that it was not out of character for him to so naturally offer us, my wife and I, such warm hospitality as it runs in the family blood. Both his Mom, Elri and his Dad, Dawie Theron are great hosts and this kind of industry and their personalities and character are in sync. Especially Elri went out of her way to help and facilitate our stay and arrangements. On hearing that we required halaal meals Dawie did a little home grown research to establish how they could accommodate us and make our stay as welcome and comfortable as possible. Needless to say, our dietary requirements were well attended to. Our upgraded accommodation had welcoming chocolates, was neat, well aired, modern, attractive and spacious. Everything was in good working order and we were advised that should we require anything we should not hesitate to open our mouths. The setting was really peaceful and serene - great. The atmosphere and ambiance was conducive for a break away from home, a holiday, an overnight stay on a business visit or even a small workshop or seminar. We felt that we were amongst family or friends of old. A home away from home."
