Beautiful aloes in the garden and enjoyed the donkeys too. Great having a fireplace for chilly & wet evenings and a plentiful supply of wood. We were able to visit the Motor Museum and Babylonstoring from there as well as explore the many delightful shops & galleries that the town has to offer. Anne and the staff were extremely helpful with making dinner reservations and suggesting places to go etc. Our sons, were besotted with the dogs, especially Jake who took a special liking to our youngest who treated him to a bit of unwanted bacon at breakfast.
If anyone is looking for a quiet break away from it all, then this is the place to stay. Will definitely recommend to others coming to the area and if we are ever back in the area we WILL be making a return visit. "

Auberge La Dauphine was as I hoped would be, charming comfortable room, with wonderful surroundings. Owners Anne and Dan were extremely friendly offering great service without intrusion. I was able to take my Cocker Spaniel Poppy, who was a hit with almost everyone she met. I will definitely stay there again when I need a break away.
