Breakfast was quite varied, but latecomers did not get a fair share of fresh fruit. Also people have to sit together at long tables and be sociable.
Comments I would make:
1 - there are not enough chairs to sit on in the really lovely garden. This has grand views and lots of delightfrul evening sunshine. What chairs there are, are heavy metal and make a real racket if you can actually get on and drag it over to your own patch.
2 - when people have finished breakfast the tables are not cleared and cleaned quickly. "

Since we were on a family holiday in South Africa I did wanted to try a night at a B&B, and I searched the internet to find something that looked nice. I was a bit weary, having found on many occasions that pictures and reviews can be deceiving!
Pulling up to Manor on the Bay I was pleasantly surprised. It is absolutely lovely! Rooms and bathrooms were cosy yet elegant, on the level of a boutique hotel. The staff was helpful, friendly and very accommodating. The area is quiet and picturesque, set in a cliff directly overlooking the beach and bay. Early in the morning we took a breathtaking ride through the mountains and coastline to go cage diving, which was definitely one of the highlights of our whole trip.
I would recommend Manor on the Bay to any of my friends that were travelling through the cape!
