The smile was just as big, the feeling just as genuine. Rocky Street up the road was pumping, happy smiling faces having a good time but from our bed we could hear nothing. All was peaceful, clean and comfortable.

We will be going back next time we visit Jo'burg and if you need somewhere to stay, I recommend you try 2B Happy! "

"Value for money!"

(South Africa) anonymous

"If you want value for money, this is the place to be. We were very concerned with security issues, but were reassured when we found the place very safe and comfortable. Thank you Gladys for the warm welcome!"

"My husband and I stayed at 2BHappy on 21 and 22 March 2008. We are locals from KZN. When our family from JHB found out that we were staying in Yeoville they were very concerned. We also became concerned on hearing their remarks.
However as we had booked and paid we decided that we would stay as it was only for two days. We were pleasantly surprised. Our en-suite room was comfortable and clean. The kitchen offered full cooking facilities and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our hired vehicle was safe for the two nights that it was parked at 2BHappy. It was the first time I have stayed at a backpacking establishment in our country but in future I will consider their en suite rooms before a hotel or B and B."
