"Overall a very nice place to stay en-route to somewhere. The breakfast served was outstanding and the rooms comfortable and clean. Beware the water in the bathroom is to standard and after a long journey cold shower water was unacceptable. The notice 'if the water is cold the tap is to wide open' because of a gas geyser is not acceptable. If you close the tap the water does become hotter but the water constantly stops and the shower is cold."

"Very Good"

"Comfortable, clean and suitable for my needs but a bit overpriced! The 'luxury' was not apparent. There was no soap provided, only a sachet of shampoo. The room was stuffy though and obviously previous clients had smoked in the room despite it being a 'no smoking' room. The manager was very helpful in the absence of the owners who are presently experiencing personal health problems, so much can be forgiven. On the whole a pleasant stay with no glitches.

The TV was totally up the spout. Needs reprogamming and sorting out of the remote."

"Very good"

(South Africa) Ilse Uys

"Thanks for a comfortable, extremely neat stay! The ice cold juice in the fridge was a welcome surprise after our long drive!"

Janelle, our hostess, made us feel welcome without smothering us! The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip (and we stayed at five different places, while travelling in the north of South Africa)!

Thank you for making our stopover in Kuruman relaxing!"

"The room we stayed in was extremely spacious, by far the largest (most spacious) bedroom/bathroom combination we experienced in our 10 day trip from Johannesburg to Namaqualand and back. The rooms and linen were clean. Breakfast was as good as any we had experienced elsewhere. The real advantage we got from Amaziah was the value for money. The daily rate was very good for the facilities that were provided. "

"Amaziah is a surprising find in Kuruman. Small but comfortable, well-furnished room with bar fridge and complementary juice which is a nice touch. Very spacious bathroom. Hair drier supplied and there is an electric blanket on the bed which is really welcome during the chilly winter nights. The breakfast was tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary. My only complaint is that the coffee is too weak! Amaziah's rates are lower than another guest houses at which my colleague stayed, but Amaziah is definitely superior. I would definitely recommend this guest house."
