Nestling in this timeless valley is Vingerklip Lodge where guests are warmly welcomed. A sheltered sundowner veranda affords breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the unmatched splendor of a Namibian sunset.

Nestling in a timeless valley is the Vingerklip Lodge on the 3000 ha Farm ¨Bertram¨ that is surrounded by a game fence helping us to protect and preserve the animals. Our 1600 ha private reserve has 3 waterholes in various locations around the lodge with the main water-hole being flood lit at night. Various types of animals including Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Kudus, Oryx, Springbok, Impala, Warthogs, Baboons and Steenbok frequently visit the waterholes and are also often spotted when following the walking trails.

In-Room facilities include:
• The thatched bungalows comprise 22 rooms with ensuite bathrooms which are individually furnished and equipped to satisfy all traveller's requirements.
• Each unit has a private terrace to complete the atmosphere of relaxation and tranquillity.
• Some of the units offer loft accommodation for two children each.

Establishment Facilities include:
• A sheltered sundowner veranda offers breath-taking views of the surrounding countryside and the unmatched splendour of a Namibian sunset.
• Fine wines, and refreshing, locally brewed beer is served at Eagle's Nest Restaurant complementing our Gourmet cuisine and buffet in the spacious dining area.
• The lodge offers 2 Swimming pools where guests can spend the lazy afternoons.
• For those who prefer a more luxurious and warmer form of relaxation, the Jacuzzi is open to guests at their convenience.

"We enjoyed the stay at vingerklip very much. Never seen such a landscape and never experienced such a stillness at night (and day). Although a lot of guest stayed there, we almost always felt like being alone at the hotel area. The food and entertainment program were also outstanding. Unfortunately, in our room some campbeds for sunbathing were missing and the shaver in the bathroom was broken (it humed all the time). Nevertheless, we highly recomment the hotel and would always come back!"
