"This was a very relaxed and homely B&B. Petra is very friendly and helpful. It is lovely and quiet in the middle of the roses and vineyards.
This was the perfect venue for a happy stay.

"n Heerlike naweek!"

(South Africa) Mrs Prinsloo

"My dogter en ek het n heerlike naweek by Aan-den -Weg gastehuis geniet. Alles was silwerskoon en netjies. My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at At-den-Weg guesthouse. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. Although we did not eat breakfast there, we had delicious biscuits to enjoy with our coffee. We were met with kindness and hospitality, with privacy and tranquility afforded. We will gladly stay there again!"

"Warm South African hospitality"

(Switzerland) Mrs Papke

"The owners, Nicki and Petra Joubert are wonderful warm hosts and we had a very pleasant stay. The breakfasts were very healthy and wholesome as well as generous. The setting amongst the roses and vines was breath taking and peaceful. My only complaint would be that the rooms need a bit of upgrading."

Petra is extremely helpful with pointing one in the right direction regarding places to go, things to see and dinner reservations. The establishment is very central to Stellenbosch and surroundings. We will be and have been back a number of times already. I would strongly recommend this establishment."

"Aan-den-Weg at Stellenbosch"

(South Africa) Mr Barrie

"The experience at Aan-den-Weg was great. Nicky and Perta Joubert are wonderful hosts that made it a memorable. To stay at a wine farm with vineyards and roses that are in preparation for summer whilst raining and have the warmth of a marvellous place around you is a great experience."

"A B&B with a homely atmosphere"

(Japan) Mrs Kawabata

"I stayed two nights at the B&B.
An interioir decorating scheme based on roses and there were big rose gardens.
It sounded nice.
A orner, Mrs Petra was friendly and kindly person.
When I checked out of there, she scattered rose petals on my car.
It was romantic experience! "

Our rooms were clean and neat. Her breakfast was outstanding, not one day was the same every day something else. The wines that are made by the family are one of the best we tasted in the region. The landscape is much more beautiful and breathtaking than what you can see on the pictures that are provided. We like to thank Petra for her hospitality and kindness; she definitely knows what she is doing.
Thank you Rooms for Africa - without your website this experience would never have happened."

"What a lovely break from the normal hustle and bustle. Petra had everything planned to the tee. Starting with reservations for supper at a nearby establishment (this was an excellent venue), preparing breakfast earlier than the normal sitting to accommodate our very early appointment and even making a special trip to the shops to buy a special sauce that my wife requested the previous day. Our seven year old son enjoyed the early morning walks and it gave me a chance to touch base with him. My two year daughter enjoyed feeding the chickens and playing in the park. As for the wife and myself, this was a good time to relax, unwind and recharge. My only regret is that the weekend was to short .Thanks to Petra and Nicky for their hospitality, we enjoyed the visit to their bit of paradise."

By the way...the last night with petals of roses in the floor was absolutely great...
Highly recommended.

"Very personal."

"It is a very warm and personal bed and breakfast. It is well placed to visit Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Petra does everything for her guests.

It has nice rooms, huge pool and the very best breakfast we have ever had.
