The owners, Hester and JP, were very friendly and excellent hosts. We had a really nice home cooked meal of karoo lamb chops and vegetables and spent a lovely evening chatting to other guests at the farm over dinner. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone interested in this un-spoilt corner of South Africa. I have not given it 5 stars because the accommodation (while perfectly comfortable) is not hi-tech, in the sense that they do not provide all the latest technological marvels like Internet access, satellite TV, etc. If that's what you are after, perhaps you should stay in the city, but I found it exceptionally restful and the hosts really went out of their way to welcome us and treated us with great courtesy and friendliness."

I would highly recommend Ganora Guest Farm to anyone wishing to escape the rat race, explore the magical Nieu Bethesda Valley or simply to stay overnight enroute between Cape Town and Johannesburg."
