When we arrived there (in the rain) Pieter was there to greet us and help us with the luggage. He took us to the room, showed us where everything was and the room was nice and warm.

When we left the next morning, Pieter was there in the cold to greet us again and wish us a good day, he helped us getting in the car. When we come back that night, Pieter was there again to greet us and help us with what ever we needed. Our room was nice and warm and the beds were warm as well.

The next morning when we left Pieter was there again to greet us and wish us well for the trip back home. Pieter is a wonderful person and a very warm and friendly host. The venue was great and comfortable and had everything in we needed. I will definitely stay there again. Thank you Pieter for being such a great host. The accommodation is also very close to all surround areas and easy access from the main road.

The cottage is lovely and clean, has everything one would need and serviced every day. The garden is fully enclosed and suitable for little dogs and as long as the dogs are sociable (as there is another small dog on the property) and fully house trained, there shouldn't be a problem.
A braai can be provided on request, and laundry can be done for R60.
The location (Walmer) is very central, not right by the beach, but only a few kilometres away and within easy driving distance, close to shops and restaurants (and +-2km from Walmer shopping centre). Located in a very quiet neighbourhood and close to a park which was great to take the dogs to.
We would recommend 45 Alan drive and hope to return again.
