The chalets have dressed thatch ceilings, earthy print fabrics and indigenous wood furniture which make up for a pleasurable experience. Each unit has an ensuite bathroom with both shower and bathtub. Air-conditioning provides hot or cold air depending on your requirements; or if you just want to breathe in the fresh bushveld air, just step out onto the private deck.

The eight 4 sleeper bush chalet has (2 beds,1 x sleeper couch) the chalet has dressed thatch ceilings, earthy print fabrics and indigenous wood furniture which make up for a pleasurable experience. Each unit has two ensuite bathrooms with a shower and bathtub respectively. Air-conditioning provides hot or cold air depending on your requirements; or if you just want to breathe in the fresh bushveld air, just step out onto the private deck. The chalet includes sleeper couch for children under the ages of 12 years.

"Apart from acceptability concerns with the quality of our many cappuccinos consumed, eventually traced to a faulty machine, and below par spa treatment for my girlfriend, we had a most pleasant stay at Finfoot Lake Reserve lodge.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The excellent rangers were knowledgeable and went out of their way to oblige us on game drive and a very relaxing early evening barge ride on Vaalkop Dam.
Accommodation was perfect for our needs, being compact, user friendly and large airy chalets well maintained. Reception and hospitality/ swimming area, including some wonderful wildlife visitors, was ideal for us.
I would give rating of a good 8 out of 10
