"The sole purpose of our visit to Durban was to have a safe comfortable base from which to visit "The Battlefields" and make contact with a couple of old friends who were living in the area. Our arrival at Ballyhigh on 6 February 2010 at 11am created a good first impression. A secure gated premises in a good area and central to all that we would need, shops, restaurants and places of interest to visit and of course, a must, a great swimming pool.

We were greeted by our hosts, Ryan and Lauren who immediately made us welcome and helped with our luggage to our room. Again this was in excellent order with all the facilities that were advertised in the brochure. Our view across the ocean was superb.
Breakfast each morning contained an excellent variety of hot or cold dishes and couldn’t be faulted.

On arriving back each day from our visits our rooms had been spotlessly cleaned, beds made and facilities refurbished. The lounges and balcony overlooking the coast was a great asset to retire too after an exhausting day in the humid conditions and I was able to relax with a book and a couple of cold beers from a fridge that was well stocked.
During our stay our hosts and their delightful children were always most helpful and it was like being with old friends. All in all, a great place to stay, well up to expectation and highly recommended."

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this as a base to stay at in Durban Centre.
