"Our return visit to Bredasdorp Square (we stayed there 14 years ago!) was most enjoyable and the meals we had in their lovely little Bistro/Coffee Shop were most excellent. We were particularly impressed by our waiter, Alfred!"

"Enjoyed it thoroughly and grateful that the lady manager advised us to go to Julian's restaurant and even though there was load shedding we had a lovely dinner for our 47th wedding anniversary. I spent Tuesday morning on the couch in the dining room knitting in front of the fire. "

"We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived (early, 10h00, but we did call beforehand) and we could check in, leave our luggage, and move on. The lady that met us (I forgot her name) was very hospitable, and I can see that they really care about customers. Breakfast GREAT.

Place is old and rustic, and for the inquisitive traveller a must."

"Een bijzondere B & B"

"We werden ontvangen met een fles wijn op het balkon. Heerlijk na een lange reis vanuit Nederland. Een prima kamer, jammer dat er geen douche is, alleen een bad. Na een lekker ontbijt zijn we op pad gegaan om Zuid Afrika verder te ontdekken. En dat is heel goed gelukt.

We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, which was refreshing after a long trip from the Netherlands.
Nice room, just a pitty that it had a bath only and not a shower. After a tasty breakfast, we departed to explore more of South Africa."

"Our room at the Earl of Claredon was clean and comfortable with some nice old-fashioned touches. Complimentary tea and coffee and a small decanter of sherry were provided in the room. There is a nicely furnished, communal balcony overlooking Bredasdorp Square - just the place to sit with a drink after a busy day. The very nice breakfast was included in the rate and was taken in the coffee shop downstairs (part of the same establishment). There are a few restaurants within a short walking distance. On this occasion our itinerary was such that we stayed only one night but we would definitely stay again."

"Classic!"

(Netherlands) Mr Dankbaar

"The hotel is right in the center of Bredasdorp with a veranda adjacent to some of the rooms looking over the town’s center square. The rooms look nice. We enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff."
