"My lady and I knew from minute one that this is somewhere where there is genuine warmth and care about it's guests, from the arrangements at reception, to the level of detail in the cottage. Everything is thought of, from a ready loaded woodburner to filter coffee, tea, milk etc.
There is a very good restaurant within walking distance, at The Old Hatchery, and others that we sort of never got to !! We very briefly met Lesley, who is a truly lovely lady, and we wish her and her family every success with Meadow Lanes in the future.
We will certainly return at some stage, probably in Winter, in an attempt to get snowed in to that beautiful cottage and get to grips with that woodburner,

Next time with better weather and more time, I'll definitely spend more time on the perfectly cut lawns and soak up some of Underbergs sun. "

Everyone was very impressed by the standard of the accommodation considering the reasonable price paid. The cottages are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The lake and hills of meadow lane are gorgeous. There is also lots to see in the surrounding area.

My only complaints are that the bathroom in Faith cottage was very damp and the shower curtain didn't work well meaning there was a puddle on the floor to mop up after each shower. But aside from this it was a great stay and I would book again."

"We recently spent 5 nights over Christmas at Meadow Lane Country Cottages. We stayed in Grace Cottage which has everything you need - only thing that could've been better was a bigger fridge.

Lesley was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and well cared for. We spent our days going over Sani Pass - 50km's away to the very top, Hiking Drak Gardens - 25km's along the same road and exploring the local area.

I was surprised how lovely our cottage was considering how reasonably priced it is, had expected less - fireplace worked like a charm!

Close enough to Underberg Spar - 5-10mins drive - to pop in for the occasional grocery shop.
