"We had a very pleasant stay at the Lemon Tree Lane in PE. Not the greatest, nicest or most interesting town we visited in SA but thanks to the beautiful accommodation and hospitality of the Lemon Tree the stay in PE was still in line with the entire holiday we just finalized!

"Lemon Tree Lane is hidden just off the very busy Cape Road, but provides a calm oasis, which is nevertheless close to a Golf Course, Greenacres Shopping Centre and Hospital.

The hosts were very welcoming without being effusive, and assisted with directions to previously undiscovered local restaurants.

Our room was all that could be desired for an overnight stay and more. It was very spacious, contained a huge double bed with additional comforts such as extra chairs to lounge on, non-obtrusive TV, a table to work or eat at, and a minibar, fridge, microwave, etc. The bathroom was delightful with an enticing curtained bath that just invited one to relax.

The room led onto a very well kept garden with a lovely pool - altogether very relaxing surroundings. Did not know that there was anywhere to stay in SA that didn't require burglar bars!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting PE, and we will happily return when the opportunity arises.

We were treated to a friendly welcome, extremely comfortable, neat. clean accommodation and a constant feeling of open helpfulness.

The gardens and sparkling pool provided a restful setting for the entire stay.

The breakfast was well presented, everything we could hope for, and delicious.

We will certainly stay there again should we be in a position to visit Port Elizabeth again."
