So much thought and love has gone into creating this guesthouse which is more about being a warm haven for itÕs guest rather than just somewhere to rest a head. The emphasis is on making the guests feel completely at home and this is evident in everything the hosts do. We were warmly welcomed with complimentary drinks enjoyed next to a burning fireplace which was the perfect welcome as it was storming outside. Our comfort and needs were top priority and the luxurious dŽcor of our beautiful room and the guesthouse provided the perfect setting for us to relax and unwind. There is a great outside braai area where the hosts hold themed evenings to highlight different South African cuisine, offering foreign guests the opportunity to learn more about South African culture and mix and mingle with each other. "From the first enquiry and receiving availability, being unable to deposit 50% due to Eksom's Load shedding in Tulbagh that specific Friday afternoon, up to our arrival and checking in, Tania has definitely been very kind and helpful. We had a lovely walk about in Simons Town and then went, by Shuttle, to Seaforth Restaurant where we had the most delicious FRESH oysters. Sunday we had a bit of a lay in and only went for breakfast, once realizing that it might be too late, Tania was welcoming and ready to assist and prepare our breakfast order. My only wish was that we could stay longer and dreaded the drive back home. We were treated like VIP's and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mariner Guesthouse.
We will definitely be back but then stay 2 nights.

We enjoyed every moment of it, toured around Simon's Town's, Chapman's Peak, V&A, Table Mountain, Camps Bay, Robben Island just to name a few. We are definitely coming back."
