Anyone you ran into was very friendly and helpful but it really is a working 'farm' environment with random dogs, chickens, a busy nursery, and horse stables at the bottom of the property. We stayed in the cottage and it was clean, attractive, and the perfect size for a couple. It was also magically silent despite the activity at the bottom of the property. If you appreciate gardening, you are in luck because the property has beautiful plants all over the place. (They definitely contribute the quietness & privacy of the cottage.) We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again."
