"Very neat and tidy. We camped during our visit. Bathrooms a pleasure to visit only small negative there is not really a place to put your clothing and toiletries down outside the shower. The animals on the property are well cared for, althought the water was very dirty I think it is was more due to end of year and staff was on leave for for New Year. Thank you we had a good one night stay and staff was very friendly."

"Half way stop to the Cape"

Lee-Anne Tuohy

"Enjoyed being able to relax en-route to Cape Town. Also enabled an opportunity to travel thorough the smaller towns we would have missed staying on the main routes"

"Was a bit farther than expected. My suggestion for the Ribbok chalet is that it needs a second bathroom as it sleeps six people. The room has a pleasant bathroom but is open plan which makes it difficult for the other guests to use. We had my sister with us and it was a bit uncomfortable sharing an open plan bathroom, this chalet is fine for 2 adults and their small children. The meal was fair but the resort does not seem geared up for more than four guests at a meal sitting. There was also no red wine on sale but luckily we had our own. We found the staff were very friendly and helpful and it was great that we could take our furry babies with us."

Our 2 dogs enjoyed the freedom and was wary of getting close to the other animals.

The rooms was luzerious and clean and the kitchen was well enough equipped . We could therefore sterilise and prepare baby bottles without hassle.

We would have loved some complimentary coffee and tea in the room though since we ran out of coffee and the local shops was closed upon arrival."

"Hot and Dry...but enjoyable "

(South Africa) Werner Conradie

"Being in a very hot and dry time of the year the camping conditions weren't ideal. Lack of proper shade for the camping sites is a major issue. That aside the venue is well maintained and great security. The swimming area was a great relief from the sun. This venue is ideal for larger school groups."

"Great stay"

"Comfortable stay in well equipped chalet"

(South Africa) Josephus Terwindt

"Nice helpful staff and comfortable accommodation near the Gariep Dam.Stayed only 1 night en route to Lesotho but could have easily stayed longer. Now we know for next time."

"Very interesting stay"

"Rooms are clean, but needs a woman's hand for the finer things. Everyone were very friendly and helpful. Everything done so far is impressive. There is still a lot of work to be done and the end result will be stunning."

"Great find"

(United Kingdom) Lizzi Osborne

"We had a wonderful stay in the family chalet at Siloam Village. Extremely friendly and helpful people, and the highlight is the lovely little swimming pool. "

"Gasvry"

(South Africa) Dirk Brits

"Ons het 'n kans gevat om ons roete te 'verlaat' om hier oor te slaap. Die huidige gasvryheid het die tekortkominge oorskadu. Ek glo teen Desember sal dit fantasties wees om daar oor te bly. Ons gaan beslis weer ons roete 'verlaat' om daar oor te slaap."

"Nice pit stop"

(South Africa) Chris Barnard

"Enjoyed my stay, venue still in construction and will be a nice overstay in it's price class once finished. Friendly and helpful owner and staff. Good travel routes in the area and nature reserve a must to visit."

"Great stay"

(South Africa) Visser

"I had such a great stay at Siloam, we got a little lost and they came to fetch us, they truly went out of their way. I really hoped at the end of our stay that we could've stayed longer. I will recommend them to others."

"We enjoyed our stay at Siloam Village. The rooms were neat, clean and comfortable and we were fortunate to be the only guests in the chalet so had full use of it, which was especially nice as our two teenagers could have their own rooms. Unfortunately it rained most of the time that we were there which meant we were limited in what we could do as we enjoy the outdoors. None the less my husband and son enjoyed a brief fishing session and were very thankful to Andrew for his helpfulness in supplying them with fishing rods and bait. We also went for a drive in our car through the nature reserve and spotted quite a few animals. It would be nice if the chalet had it's own fridge and coffee and tea facilities as it's not nice walking through the rain to make use of the kitchen. All in all we had a good stay and felt well looked after. Siloam is especially nice to stay at for people who want to escape the rate race and find some peace and quiet."
