Bay View Lodge is situated in Richards Bay on the north coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal, approximately 200 km's north of Durban. It is within walking distance of the main swimming and fishing beach. 13 km's from the Richard's Bay Airport and 8km's from the CBD, Bayview Lodge is well-situated for both tourists and businessmen.

Our accommodation is spacious and comfortable - a home away from home. All 13 rooms have two double beds, air-conditioned, en-suite bathrooms and a 10-channel TV system. A full English breakfast is optional extra and we also have a restaurant with a full a` la carte menu . We have a lovely swimming pool, a pub and safe parking

"Great Stay, Great Lodge"

"I had a pleasant stay. The hotel has a good location situated near a few other restaurants and pubs within walking distance. TuziGazi Waterfront is a short drive from the lodge with a variety of shops and restaurants. Reception is standard "Ring for service" but friendly and professional. Free WiFi in the lodge bar. The staff in general nice, polite and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable and the room also has a spacious cupboard which also contained additional blankets. The room has a bar fridge should you need to keep your own drinks cold and also has small coffee station. Being a light sleeper I was concerned because I was on the ground floor and near the street, however was pleasantly surprised of how quiet the room was. The lodge bar is popular with the local residents who enjoy a few cold ones after work or a long day and has a friendly and homey atmosphere."

"We arrived early and were welcomed by the owner/manager of the establishment and she booked us in early.
We had a pleasant stay with excellent breakfast each morning.
