Soaking in the bathtub was a little challenging (rather short and narrow), but the dual shower made up for it. A delicious breakfast at Il de Paine rounded off a wonderful stay. Will gladly visit again."

We did not like the breakfast system, not that we were not happy to move out, but the choices of the places to go were not very good, and lacked healthier and more classical options. Noise from other rooms could be overheard. Overall, a place we would strongly recommend as the pros outclassed the cons."

"When we arrived at The Lofts we were very impressed with its location on Thesen Island. The surrounding area is stunning and the views from the rooms are fabulous.

We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from Reception who talked us through everything. We were shown to the room and were delighted with it in every way. We initially walked in to a living area which had the bedroom and the bathroom off that. There was also a balcony which you could access either from the living room or the bedroom which was huge.

The Lofts also recommended local restaurants which we found to be excellent quality and value. The breakfast is held in a small deli /cafe just a short walk away and this had a wide variety of different breakfasts and coffees.

There was also a spa on site however we did not take advantage of this.

All in all we were thrilled with our choice of booking The Lofts, we had a fabulous relaxing stay here I would recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling to Knysna."
