"Kate's Kitchen is not your ultra-modern facility/accommodation. It is unique in the sense that it takes you back to how practical things were before 'decor' took over. It reminds us of our childhood, and it even gives the children a perspective of how we were raised, and makes them realise what special people their grandparents were with good values and norms. Now, in order to maintain this accommodation/facility, and make this available to us as patrons, also takes "special people". The Kate's Kitchen people are "special people", and therefore treats us like special people too! And we feel at home!

The muffins with grated cheese and tomato jam was special! I was able to serve it with coffee to my wife in bed! Yes, this was our second time and we will go back again in future to "Our family", when we need accommodation in Bredasdorp. Never stop doing what you are doing Kate's Kitchen!

Merry Christmas Jacky and family and a prosperous Festive Season and 2015!"

The place is cosy as well as the atmosphere. We were awakened by the beautiful sunrise.

There was a lovely, covered stoep on which to relax.
It had everything we needed. Facilities: could watch Soccer between Brazil & Netherlands; due to cold, I could get a nice hot shower which did the trick; free coffee, sugar & milk.

It has character. Wow! History of area, especially Napier.
Will recommend to anyone. It's so peaceful and relaxing
We will definitely return. The weekend was too short.

"It was however incredibly homey, warm and inviting. Our host Jaqueline was most welcoming and sociable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with and it was wonderful having a host who was so informative about the area and made some good suggestions of places to go. Nothing was too much to ask for and our host was more than happy to meet our needs ... even in pyjamas! It was a huge relief having our little dog being equally welcomed and spoilt."

"My sister-in-law and I had a wonderful stay at Kate's Country Kitchen. As we both descend from the area, we had the profound sense of being housed in a relative's home. We were warmly received and our room with its traditional furniture and more modern amenities made us feel very much at home. The room was warm and cosy, with sufficient bedding and heating. We were even, as B&B guests, given a 'light supper' which we could not finish. As we were there to attend the funeral of my daughter's father, it was a sad occasion for us, but staying in such comfort helped us to cope. My car was also parked safely inside the property. I have every intention of staying there again, and have recommended it with its very reasonable rates to my relatives."
