Situated beside the Orange River, Kalahari Lion's Rest offers guests amazing views, and a choice of 8 lovely rooms; 1 of which is wheelchair accessible. Each of the 8 ensuite rooms is furnished with twin beds, which can be converted into a king-size bed, and is equipped with a small fridge and kettle, a TV with DSTV as well as Wi-Fi access. All of the rooms are non-smoking, and some of the rooms are located on the second floor.
Kalahari Lion's Rest is conveniently located for business travellers and holidaymakers passing through or staying in Upington. Attractions and activities range from canoeing on the Orange River, taking a sunset river cruise on Sakkie se Arkie, visiting the Kalahari-Oranje Museum or the Orange River Wine Cellars.

"Friendly people, breakfast was good. The wooden cabin look makes it different from the other guest houses. Located on a very good spot, outside any noise or traffic. Walking path close to the Orange river. Excellent place and will definitally recommend Kalahari Lion's Rest"
