The Rose Cottage was just what we needed (two bedrooms and two bathrooms), the beds were comfy, and best of all, it was serviced once a day so we could truly relax.
The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, nothing was a problem and any requests were attended to quickly.
Great hiking trails and abundant birds (if you are a birder).

We stayed in the lovely one-bedroomed Rose cottage furnished with a comfortable king bed, and soft percale linen. Our girls used the sleeper in the lounge. The units are very reasonably priced and great value for money.

Super clean and serviced almost daily. The little kitchen had everything we needed.

We received a warm welcome from Marietjie, the manageress, and she was kind enough to post my tablet to me after I had left it behind at the cottage.

We did not have views of the mountains from our unit, but were surrounded by the pretty garden. There is a little dam with some row boats and braai facilities and the views from there are gorgeous! A jungle gym would have been nice as my 7yr old loves them, but we were out and about on the Midlands meander during the day. Be prepared to travel the 30km to and from Mount Park to visit the popular Nottingham road and Midlands Meander attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our six nights here! Thank you!

Mount Park is a beautiful Midlands farm in the mistbelt and next to pristine indigenous forests and grasslands. We saw Wattled Cranes and plenty of birds and enjoyed the trails in the forests and up the mountains. We loved the gardens, the huge old house, the dam to fish in, the animal area and everything else!

I recommend Mount Park to everyone!!

I will definitely tell people about the just farm and recommend it to people all over the world. They can put it on their wish list to visit, because you are near to the nature, you can rest and forget about your problems at work and in the city.
I will never stay at a other place during the Midmar Mile weekend because it is close-by. Thank you.

Any place that can have pure white linen is brave, but there it was all crisp and spotless. There were 4 of us ladies and we had so much fun. Although we did not get to stay long, the time we spent there was so peaceful and tranquil. The grounds are neat and well kept with totally amazing views. We had the beef lasagna for supper and oh my it was absolutely amazing. We were treated to a farm house breakfast which was well prepared and very tasty. We will definitely make arrangements to go back and stay for a longer period. "

"Mount Park Guest House, it was the perfect stopover to refresh from a lengthy drive down from Durban. The room was clean, neat and tidy; it had everything we needed for our over-night. We only stayed over for one night, but it was very pleasant place to stay at. "
