Tambarina Guest House & Restaurant is set in the historic town of Komatipoort, just off the Maputo Corridor. This tranquil homestead of your hosts Charlain & Grezelda is within close proximity to the world renowned Kruger National Park. We are perfectly located for exploring Swaziland (just 60km to the border) and Mozambique (just 5km to the border) and other Lowveld attractions.

The little town of Komatipoort is situated & at the foot of the Lebombo Mountains near the confluence of the Nkomati and Crocodile Rivers. It offers the ideal Southern entrance to the Kruger National Park at the Crocodile Bridge Gate which is open throughout the year. Kruger Park is well known for being rich in wildlife, especially the Big 5.

The set and design is of a Portuguese style, so is the magnificent food offered here. Tambarina is known for the unique way in which the prawns and seafoods are prepared and taste. Tambarina Guesthouse is situated 10km form the Krugar Park (Crocodile Bridge Entrance), 10km form Mozambique (Lebombo Border Post) and about 60km form Swaziland (Mananga Border Post).

All the rooms have air-cons, DSTV, bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

"If you ever visit Komatipoort please make sure that you make a booking at Tambarina. We had a super time there and enjoyed our stay tremendiously. Fantastic hosting and and the place is very neat and inviting. Close to all amenities and a warm and welcome feeling every time we arrived at our little haven. Fantastic... We will definitely go back and will tell our friends to do the same too.

Do make sure to eat at he restaurant too. Excellent food , service and atmosphere. A perfect place to be."
