"Doris Cottage is nestled in a most exquisite part of Cape Town, against the backdrop of the mountain. I booked my mother into the cottage. The booking process was efficient, but the feature which stood out was the generosity and thoughtfulness of the host. It became a lot more than a cottage in a garden, as the host gave of her time, experience and knowledge to attend to her guest. The art in the cottage is stunning and we were thus also fortunate to learn something about Zimbabwean artists. All in all, our expectations were exceeded. Many thanks."

"I was on a study trip (sitting for an international test at Vineyard Center, Claremont) and I needed a close, quiet, cozy and, affordable place to stay. Doris Cottage was more than perfect. Excellent self-catering facilities and an efficient WiFi. The hostess is also an amazingly warm person. I recommend the Cottage to anyone visiting Cape Town at least without children as it has only one double bed room. If I happen to go back to Cape Town (and I will for it is a great city) Doris Cottage will be my option 1."
