This is essentially a 3-bedroom, two-bathroom old farm house used as a hunting cottage; not quite Biggie Best-decor, but it was clean, roomy and comfortable, with all the essentials such as cutlery & crockery, stove, kettle, microwave, fridge, freezer etc., including tea, coffee, sugar and milk.

There is an indoor- as well as outdoor braai with plenty of firewood.

Now all it needs is a bookshelf with some old novels and perhaps an old bloodhound to lie at my feet and I could spend a week here...

"As a hunting lodge you will not find better. As a one night stop over, after a long journey the peace and quiet cannot be bettered. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Both Dion and Dionne made us feel very welcome. I wish units in the cities could take a cue from you!"

Go with company!
well equipped, comfortable with fire wood supplied (it was the middle of winter)and enough bedding to be cosy.
interesting walks, game viewing etc from the front door
well situated for a stop over 8 hours from Cape Town (en route to Pietermaritzburg)

Dislike: one night is too short"
