There's only a few flats in the building so it was pretty quiet. The one thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the stairs from the gate.

The staff at the Mountain Manor are very friendly and are very prompt to help the visitors with whatever request. We really appreciate their service which we rate as excellent.

The staff are very helpful and sorted out car hire for us as well as taxis for sightseeing etc. They were particularly helpful in arranging for a doctor to call when it was discovered that my wife's medication had been left at home.
Just a few metres down the road is an excellent Italian Restaurant and one can walk there in perfect safety.
We would have no hesitation in recommending the guest house to our friends or indeed returning there if we should happen to be in Cape Town again.

"My wife and i visited this establishment in March 2006 and as it was our first time in South Africa, we were delighted by the warm response we received. It was relaxed and very pleasant and everything we asked was informatively answered to our satisfaction with the added bonus of South Arican hospitality which i can only describe as outstanding. We had dinner at the Manor and had barbecued fish and homemade starters and sweets which were delicious.

In conclusion, although my wife is visually impaired and fiercely independent, she and I felt that the three days that we spent at Mountain Manor would have complimented any holiday that we have ever had. The only down side was that we could not stay longer."
