Cyrildene is a little authentic suburb known for its solid 1950’s homes and its central but still quiet residential position. It is completely fenced off area with 24 hour security guards. It is a 15 minute drive from OR Tambo International Airport, 10 minute drive to city centre, 5 minute drive to Ellis Park Stadium. There are several popular shopping centres around including Eastgate (10 minute walk), Bedford, Park Medows and Bruma Flea Market.

The guest house consists of 3 independent comfort rooms with own entrances and a cottage.

The Golden Oldie has beautiful parquet floor and pressed ceilings. It offers a queen bed, comfortable ensuite bathroom with shower, 32" TV, Wi-Fi and a small kitchenette fully equipped for self-catering.

The Room with View is set in a garden of the house. It has a queen size bed, a warm bathroom with shower, a flat screen TV, Wi-Fi and a kitchenette fully equipped for self-catering.

Scent of Africa is neighbouring The Room with View. It is equipped with a double bed, a good size bathroom with shower, a flat screen TV, Wi-Fi and a kitchenette.

The Cottage consists of 3 small rooms - a bedroom with a double bed, small sitting room with TV (DSTV) and Wi-Fi and fully equipped eat -in kitchenette. The bathroom has a nice size shower.
All rooms have good size wardrobes. Linen and towels are provided. A weekly cleaning service includes laundry service as well. Guests can make use of the built-in braai (barbeque) and the sparkling swimming pool.

The place is hosted by friendly European couple and a pick up from the airport can be arranged.

"We found the atmosphere of the place very quiet and friendly, with Romy and Ivan as nice and caring hosts. The Guest Rooms are conveniently located and are a well accessible place to stay for daily explorations of Gauteng and surrounding areas. We only missed international channels on DStv especially because in the evenings we were unable to watch the ongoing competitions at the recent Olympic Games. :-) However, we would be glad to be back and see our hosts sometime in the future again!"

"Romy is very friendly and helpful..room has everything u need for self catering stay..mini oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, glasses...nice big shower, pool, parking..free wifi..tv with local channels only..bed is comfortable..unfortunately the windows don't open easily, so, get very hot when cook..."
