"We enjoyed our three days at Nkorto Bush Lodge. The rangers and trackers are very professional and we saw a lot of animals, including the Big 5."

"Awesome, but not that well suited for young children."

"The lodge was awesome but not that well suited for young children. There should be an option for a kids meal at each mealtime, as little kids can be picky eaters. It was very stressful for us to try and find something for our 2 year old to eat at each meal. Also, the game drives are not really geared for little kids and being told to keep a 2 year old quiet and still for 3 hours is really hard. Like the other lodges, they should just make it a policy not to allow children under 5 as the whole experience is not really suitable for a small child. We found this out the hard way.

For us as adults, it was a fantastic experience and the staff and facilities were just amazing. We will definitely go back when our youngest is at least 5 years old."

"Great time"

(Australia) AJ Curis

"Great game viewing although the food was quite average. Would have been nice to know that my accommodation didn't have aircon.

All in all though we had a great time, the staff were very friendly and helpful."

"We had a fantastic time at Nkorho bush lodge. The setting is marvellous. You can relax in the pool and see game by the waterhole at the same time. We went on 4 game drives during our stay and saw the big five within the first two drives. The staff are very welcoming and professional. The standard of the food was very good with evening meals in the Boma and breakfast and lunch on the veranda. We saw four giraffes come to the waterhole while we were having lunch one day! A wonderful experience. "

"Fantastic sights on game drives and from the Lodge

Meals could be better. Team very nice. We would have liked a little more information about the animals we spotted."

"The principal objective was to see game at close quarters. This was achieved with the ranger by, if necessary, going into the bush to track and follow animals. This simply would not be possible on a self-drive through Kruger Park itself. We saw 4 of the Big 5 and other animals. The hospitality of the staff was first class. The accommodation was OK and the food reasonable. Location excellent although quite a long drive along miles of gravel road to reach Nkorho. Lovely swimming pool for relaxing during the day time."

"Very sweet. Sightings were great. We were very unlucky with the weather, rained out everyday.

An effort can be made with the food.

Overall a really enjoyable experience, will definitly go back again. "

"Our stay at the lodge was our first in the area. We enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff and expecially the Lodge dog! The accomodation was comfortable and met our expectations. All meals were enjoyed and varied although not good for those watching their waistlines... We enjoyed our daily game drives and felt very lucky to see a lion feeding on a buffalo carcass for three days! Our ranger was always accomodating and delivered the goods upon my request to see a leopard! "

"Nkorho"

(South Africa) Mr Bender

"The Nkorho Bush Lodge was a nice place and we enjoy the time there. The only thing we found out is that there was no river where we expect the animals. But this had nothing to do with the accommodation and the lodge.
