We found the microwave pretty dirty on the inside and the splash cover had a lot of grime on it. The Wi-Fi signal strength was only decent if you stood near the entrance of the room, but most of the room had no signal. The owner of the establishment was aware of this, which confused me a little because there are interventions that could have been taken to boost the signal. The DSTV access advertised on the site is not what it seems. We had no DSTV connection to our room and we were told to inform the owner if we needed to watch a specific channel. Lastly, the noise factor from people staying in adjacent rooms and properties at night time was not ideal. In general however, the stay was decent "

"Had a very pleasant stay in the Weaver suite over Ironman weekend. Its about 300m from the race start, so the perfect location for athletes. Weaver is self-catering,which worked well for us. Our hosts were very accomodating, and went out of their way to make sure we did not need anything."

Portside is a close stroll down to the beach promenade. The owners made sure we were informed of all the restaurants in the vicinity and in some cases supplied us with their menus. In all it was pleasant accommodation!"
